Worship
''Love one another, as I have loved you.'' John 13:34
But Jesus said '' Let the little children come to Me, and do not hinder them! For the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.' Matthew 19:14
Worship
Worship is central to the life at St Matthias CE Primary School.
We come together as a school family each day for an act of collective worship where the staff and children celebrate God and the life of His son, Jesus Christ. In each act of worship we incorporate a time of refection and share thoughts and prayers with each other.
It is also a time to celebrate our values as a school, reflect on our school vision to Aspire, Believe and Achieve and a time to think about all the gifts God has given us to make a difference in our world, no matter how old we are, what background we have, religion or ethnicity we have, everyone is welcome.
Worship Warriors
At St Matthias we have a CREW of Worship Warriors who support in organising the Collective Worship themes, read the prayers and either run the worship or assist the person delivering the worship. They take their role incredibly seriously and enjoy the responsibility of ensuring that worship is a central and respected part of the day.
Timetable of Collective Worship
